Stop baby dumping!!!
Baby dumping in the world!
Poems by Veeraiyah Subbulakshmi
Mutated flowers and fruits drop as snowflakes,
Born mutated human suffer and seek to be concerned,
The grain that implanted in the womb sucked,
The fetus formed out of wedlock washed out,
The passage to the glorious ovary camouflaged,
Gulping, injecting and inserting contraceptives,
Millions of enlightened human do it in disguise,
The human got in between the pestle and mortar,
Not knowing the convenience of development,
Carry the babies to full term and then kill them,
The babies are thrown into the dustbin alive and dead,
The babies are found in the houses of God,
While the ants and insects feast on their fresh cords,
Don't be a father to a baby that is aborted,
Don't be a daddy to a baby that is mutated,
Don't be a papa to a baby that is dumped,
Don't father a baby to a woman who is not yours.
Don't be a mummy to a baby that is washed out,
Don't be a mother to a baby that is dumped and killed.
Don't sleep around to get the pool of sperms,
identify the sperm that impregnate with handheld kit,
push into the hell of fire to stand and suffer,
we, women, are left alone when we are in trouble.

Song for poor children
I came upon this beautiful song lyrics about poor orphan child written by Ralph Stanley. Really touching...
Poor Orphan Child - Ralph Stanley
I hear a low faint voice that says
Papa and mama's dead
And it comes from the poor orphan child
That must be clothed and fed
And it comes from the poor orphan child
That must be clothed and fed
And it comes from the poor orphan child
That must be clothed and fed
Savior, lead them by the hand
Savior, lead them by the hand
Savior, lead them by the hand
Til they've all reach that glittering strand
Think of the many children now
Poor little boys and girls
Who once had mother's loving arms
To smooth their golden curls
Who once had mother's loving hand
To smooth their golden curls
Who once had mother's loving hand
To smooth their golden curls
Savior, lead them by the hand
Savior, lead them by the hand
Savior, lead them by the hand
Til they've all reach that glittering strand
But now we see those wandering curls
Hang careless round their brow
They say to us, my papa's dead
And I've no mother now
They say to us, my papa's dead
And I've no mother now
They say to us, my papa's dead
And I've no mother now
Savior, lead them by the hand
Savior, lead them by the hand
Savior, lead them by the hand
Til they've all reach that glittering strand
O Savior, every orphan bless
Wherever they may roam
Bless every hand that lends them aid
And bless the orphan's home
Bless every hand that lends them aid
And bless the orphan's home
Bless every hand that lends them aid
And bless the orphan's home
Savior, lead them by the hand
Savior, lead them by the hand
Savior, lead them by the hand
Til they've all reach that glittering strand

A prayer for the poor children
A prayer for the poor children
Dear Lord, We come to you today to offer up the children that we serve. We place them in your hands Father and we ask you to care for them. Please comfort them and provide the healing that they need to help them recover from the traumas that these innocent young children have had to endure: for those who have suffered from hunger, thirst, and the pains of malnutrition, for those who have had to live without adequate housing, lack of clothing, and no shoes, for those who have had to suffer through the experiences of abuse, neglect, abandonment or the death of one or both parents.
Please ensure that their basic needs are met so they are able to continue to develop physically, mentally, and emotionally. Show them your mercy and invite them into your arms. Provide for them a parental relationship where they can talk to you and trust in you. Fill them with your love and grant them peace and security. Give them hope for a bright future and bless them with the opportunities of education and guidance to lead them towards that future.
We ask you Lord to please care for these and all the children of the world. Bless them and those who have the responsibilities of caring for them. Protect their vulnerable and innocent lives and allow for them to experience the joy and carefree happiness of childhood. We place their lives in your hands Lord, in the name of your son Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Prayer for the poor people
A prayer for the poor people
Lord, I know that you have given me so much. You provide a roof over my head. You provide me with an abundance of food on my table. I have friends and the opportunity to get an education. I have conveniences like computers, iPods, and iPads. You have blessed me in my life with so many things that I don't even know. How you keep me safe, how you protect those I love, how you give me an opportunity every single day to love you. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for these things. I do not know if I could handle any less, but I do know that you would be there beside me to give me strength just as you do now.
But Lord, there are so many other people who have so much less than I do. There are those that have no idea what life is like outside of depravity. There are those living every night on the streets, faced with dangers beyond my imagination. There are scary threats that face them every day, and every day is a struggle for them to live. There are those with health and psychological issues that cannot live normally that just need your protection. There are people that cannot seem to find their way through life that may not know how to hear you, but you can be there with them anyhow.
And Lord, I know there are people around the world starving. There isn't enough food to always go around. Water is contaminated and a commodity that some areas on the earth do not have. There are children dying every day from starvation. And there are those facing daily abuse from those they love or look up to. There are damages done to people every day psychologically, emotionally, and physically. There are girls oppressed in countries where they cannot study to grow out of their oppression. There are places where an education is such a privilege a majority of people never have the opportunity to learn. There are so many underprivileged people in the world, and I lift them all up to you.
I ask you, Lord, to intervene in these cases. I know that you have a plan, and I don't know what that plan is or why these bad things happen, but you say that the poor in spirit will inherit the kingdom of heaven. I pray that you will find a place for those that live thier lives underprivileged and suffering. I also pray, Lord, that you always give me a heart for those who have less, so that I always feel a need to do your work here. I pray that I can life those up and touch lives that need me.
In Your name, Amen.
There is nothing we can do for the poor people all around the world. But at least we could say a prayer for these poor people. Here is a prayer we can say for the poor people:
But Lord, there are so many other people who have so much less than I do. There are those that have no idea what life is like outside of depravity. There are those living every night on the streets, faced with dangers beyond my imagination. There are scary threats that face them every day, and every day is a struggle for them to live. Poor child
Poor Child Poem
This is a wonderful poor child poem.
This is a wonderful poor child poem.
Poor Child
I was a child
Living in this world of poverty
A world, where my innocence was taken
A world, full of misery and hungry
What is my future?
What is meant for me?
Where are my rights?
Where am I supposed to be?
Do you hear my voice?
Do you see my soul?
Can't you see me fighting?
Struggling for a life that I don't know
Can you extend your arms
Hug me for a while
I needed that now
Before closing my eyes and die

I am Just a lonely soul
Can anyone hear me?
Is anyone out there?
I have nowhere else to go
Escaping from all the misery
And from all the trouble that had been caused
I feel as if my life just took a sudden pause
Regretting for my regrets
Feeling that I may just don’t belong
Feeling that the path I made was wrong
I ask god to forgive me for all my sins
And all the ways that I have been
Just look it from the way I see
So I am talking for anyone out there
Can anyone here me?

I never really knew you
you were just another friend
But when I got to know you
I let my heart unbend
I couldn't help past memories
That would only make me cry
I had to forget my first love
And give another try
So I've fallen in love with you
And I'll never let you go
I love you more than anyone
I just had to let you know
My feelings for you will never change
Just know my feelings are true
Just remember this one thing
I will always love you

When Children Pray
When Children Pray
Children only kneel when some incident causes great fear
Children only cry when they feel alone and threatened
Children live by a strong faith that is scare these days
Children will bare any type of pain if they feel it will ease the hate
And those times when children pray those times are when god can do nothing but, obey
Children the ask for happiness and they are the light of day
Yet we let millions of these treasures starve for attention
Children look at war but, look away
Its times like these when children prayers save the day
In this world of lost souls what more could one wish for than just pure hope
They are bright as stars that glitter
And all they shed is grace
With sticky fingers from exploring the juices mother earth bares
And their innocence laying bare
And simple truths spew from their rosy lips
Children pray but only when they can feel the end is near
And their love is a sudden rush that only causes forgiveness
Perfect smiles they wear upon their face
And children never hold any disgrace
Light shallow dreams of making the world a better place
When children kneel that is for which they will pray
Children only pray when in doubt
And their voices portray light fears
All a child wants to see is the new day break
And when that thought is threatened children kneel and pray

Kevin Carter's famous photo of Sudanese poor girl
In March 1993, photographer Kevin Carter
made a trip to southern Sudan, where he took now iconic photo of a
vulture preying upon an emaciated Sudanese toddler near the village of
Ayod. Carter said he waited about 20 minutes, hoping that the vulture
would spread its wings. It didn’t. Carter snapped the haunting
photograph and chased the vulture away. (The parents of the girl were
busy taking food from the same UN plane Carter took to Ayod).
The photograph was sold to The New York Times
where it appeared for the first time on March 26, 1993 as ‘metaphor for
Africa’s despair’. Practically overnight hundreds of people contacted
the newspaper to ask whether the child had survived, leading the
newspaper to run an unusual special editor’s note saying the girl had
enough strength to walk away from the vulture, but that her ultimate
fate was unknown. Journalists in the Sudan were told not to touch the
famine victims, because of the risk of transmitting disease, but Carter
came under criticism for not helping the girl. ”The man adjusting his
lens to take just the right frame of her suffering might just as well be
a predator, another vulture on the scene,” read one editorial.
Carter eventually won the Pulitzer Prize
for this photo, but he couldn’t enjoy it. “I’m really, really sorry I
didn’t pick the child up,” he confided in a friend. Consumed with the
violence he’d witnessed, and haunted by the questions as to the little
girl’s fate, he committed suicide three months later.

925 million hungry people in 2010
925 million hungry people in 2010. Is that real???
Check this out...
925 million people is 13.6 percent of the estimated world population of 6.8 billion. Nearly all of the undernourished are in developing countries.
In round numbers there are 7 billion people in the world. Thus, with an estimated 925 million hungry people in the world, 13.1 percent, or almost 1 in 7 people are hungry.
Children are the most visible victims of undernutrition. Children who are poorly nourished suffer up to 160 days of illness each year. Poor nutrition plays a role in at least half of the 10.9 million child deaths each year--five million deaths. Undernutrition magnifies the effect of every disease, including measles and malaria. The estimated proportions of deaths in which undernutrition is an underlying cause are roughly similar for diarrhea (61%), malaria (57%), pneumonia (52%), and measles (45%) (Black 2003, Bryce 2005). Malnutrition can also be caused by diseases, such as the diseases that cause diarrhea, by reducing the body's ability to convert food into usable nutrients.
